Scholarship

Scholarships are awarded by the Zonta Club of Prince George’s County Area and Zonta International.

 

Zonta Club of Prince George’s County Area Scholarships 

 

The Zonta Club of Prince George’s County Area offers scholarship funds to the following colleges and universities annually.

 

• Prince George’s Community College

• Bowie State University

• University of Maryland, College Park

 

In addition, the Zonta Club of Prince George’s County Area awards individual scholarships to freshman year college students who are residents of Prince Georges County through the Zonta Club of Prince George's County Area Foundation. Each scholarship award ranges from $500.00 to $1500.00.

These scholarships are awarded through the universities and colleges scholarship programs.

Zonta International Scholarships​

​

Zonta International awards several scholarships.  The application process for both scholarships starts with a Zonta club.  Zonta clubs each select one application to send to the Zonta governor/region representative.  A district/region evaluating committee reviews the applications and selects one applicant per district/region to submit to Zonta International Headquarters.
