Foundation

The Zonta Club of Prince George’s County Foundation, Inc. was formed in December 2012 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to enhance the Zonta Club of Prince George’s County Area 501(c)(4) non-profit organization. While both organizations are non-profit, there is a distinct difference between them.  

 

• Donations made to the Club are not tax deductible 

• Donations made to the Foundation are tax deductible.  

 

501(c)(3) Foundation donations are deductible to the full extent of the law as charitable contributions, allowing our contributors’ the tax-deductible benefit when donating to our organization.

 

Our Foundation is funded through club contributions, fund raising efforts, direct public donations, and grant awards. Our Foundation provides resources to fund diverse programs and organizations in the DMV communities that improve the lives of women and children.

 

Both organizations (Club and Foundation) incorporate the ideals of Zonta International which empowers women worldwide through service and advocacy.

Beginning in 2019, we partnered with the Washington Football Team's Non-profits program as volunteers during football games and special events at the FedEx Stadium.
